The arms are designed in a triangle shape to hold your item in place, but can be slightly adjusted by turning them as they are not permanently stuck in the acrylic. Display your orbs, minerals, geodes, fossils, eggs, spheres, cue balls, any round objects and much more with ease. This stand works best with items that are slightly larger than a baseball and about the size of a softball. The sphere shown in the photo has a diameter of about 2 inches.
