Hi there. I just bought a Skytech remote (1410-A), and installed the receiver, which allowed me to manually turn on the the fireplace using the receiver's button, but would not 'learn' the remote control's code. I was stumped, but Jane at your company solved the mystery instantly. Turns out our wall switch was off, but even then enough electricity got through to activate the fireplace, but not the remote control. A flick of the switch and all worked fine. Well done Jane! Excellent problem solving - this one stumped the Skytech rep I'd contacted first!

I just want to praise your products. It is nice to know that all of your products are made in the USA. Your coin holder's are awesome, they snap together really tight and they don't come apart if you drop one on the floor. Your bar holder's are just as nice. I like the rounded corners. They also snap tight. I will buy all of the holder's that I need from this company. Their service is next to none. A person actually answers the phone!! I highly recommend this company and their products. You can't go wrong ordering from this company. One more thing, they have lightning fast shipping. So buy with confidence!!!

I called OnFireGuy late (forgot about time zones) on a Friday. Even though quite late, the owner, Jane, was still there and helped me immensely. All I had to do is give her the name of the coin, then the product I'm interested in, say, 'Air Tights' or flips, or tubes, and she automatically knows what size, and that's for just about any coin/date. Just say, "Libertads, year of mint" and she'll fix you up. AND, you're dealing with professionals who love their jobs and sincerely believes in customer service. My OnFireGuy.com experience was fantastic.

My Heat&Glo fireplace's remote was stuck in just showing the 12:00 state, not responding to any battery change nor button pushing. On the other hand, if I go to the manual override at the receiver unit underneath the fireplace, it seems to work.

I searched on Amazon and found there are a couple of places that sells both the remote and the receiver unit as a combo, not separately. Since the symptoms points to a faulty remote instead of both, I've decided to try just replacing the remote.

I emailed and then called OnFireGuy.com and connected w/ Jane. She's very helpful in walking me thru a few steps to see if the remote or the receiver or both were having issues. After few exchanges on the emails we talked on the phone. OnFireGuy.com was flexible enough to offer me just the remote (w/ the price adjusted accordingly).  And if that does not fix the issue, they also offer to ship the receiver w/ the price difference. This is indeed a very flexible approach that I've not found at other places.

Turns out the new remote fixed the problem. Thanks to OnFireGuy.com and especially Jane for helping me fixed my issue w/ a flexible and friendly approach. The price is right too.
