ABOUT THE PRODUCT

This remote control was designed to provide a safe, reliable, and user-friendly system for gas heating appliances. The unit is operated manually using the hand-held transmitter. This unit only works when the receiver is connected to a HI/LOW Servo Motor Style Valve System. This unit operate the gas valve's servomotor to turn the valve from full OFF to full On (or On to OFF). The system operates on radio frequencies (RF) within a 20-foot range using non-directional signals.

The remote replaced the Old Skytech 1001SR/P unit that came with our fireplace. It took just a couple of minutes to install and works better than the original did when it was new. Thank You!

I was having a problem with the remote on my gas fireplace. I have an unusual valve and was having a problem finding a replacement. The service and help that I received was great. They found me a replacement and explained exactly how to install. I couldn’t be happier.

The remote was an exact copy of the unit that came with our fireplace. It took just a couple of minutes to install and works better than the original did when it was new.

This replacement control was a perfect match

I had to replace my remote control (dog chewed it) and the servo controller. The controller simply plugged into the exact location as the old unit. The wire connections are two different sizes; therefore, you can not plug it together incorrectly. Also, the wires on this replacement unit are about 12 inches longer than my original unit, which came with my fireplace logs. The remote control synchronized perfectly with the controller. The entire refit took less than 10 minutes to install. This was a very simple "plug and play" procedure when replacing an extisting model SR-1001.
